Derivators as an enhancement of triangulated categories
Seminario de Álgebra
The theory of derivators began as a way to provide some extra structure to triangulated categories. Current research in the field has moved past these beginnings, but the triangulated setting is a good starting point to understand how derivators are "better" than the category by itself. In this talk, I will give an introduction to the theory of (triangulated) derivators, some key examples, and (time allowing) give some reasons to pick derivators over dg-categories or (infty,1)-categories.
