Some convex optimization methods in geodesic spaces

In recent years, mathematical theories traditionally developed in linear contexts have been extended to particular metric settings too. Geodesic metric spaces provide an appropriate framework for considering various convexity concepts and proving important properties and results in convex analysis. The aim of this talk is to introduce some convex optimization problems in sufficiently regular geodesic metric spaces and to discuss the convergence of methods employed in solving them.
