Groups of intermediate growth in Seville consists of a workshop and an advanced course aimed for advanced PhD students and young doctors which, together with internationally recognized researchers, will learn the basic concepts as well as the latest advances in the theory of groups of intermediate growth, self-similar groups and branch groups, from distinct points of view.

There will be some grants for travel and accommodation expenses of young participants. Eligible candidates for financial support will be selected by the Organizing Committee. More details at the registration page.

Young participants are kindly invited to present their research work. Talks will be selected by the Scientific Committee attending to time availability and scientific quality of the proposals.

This activity is organized by the Spanish Network in Group Theory (Red Española de Teoría de Grupos, MTM2015-71830-REDT), and is hosted by the Institute of Reserach in Mathematics at the University of Seville (IMUS).
