Doc-course: Harmonic Analysis, Metric Spaces and  Applications to P.D.E. Sevilla, May 15th - July 15th, 2011

The  DOC-COURSE will consist of three Research Units:

Unit 1: Classical and Dyadic Harmonic Analysis.
Unit 2: Analysis on  metric spaces.
Unit 3: Applications to Partial Differential Equations.

Each unit will consist of four to five one-week introductory courses plus a series of more advanced seminars delivered by our invited speakers. 

Courses will be mainly delivered during the first month and a half, leaving the last half a month for the students to complete their guided assignments and expositions. 

The courses will be delivered by the following Researchers: 
Unit 1:
Cristina Pereyra (University of New Mexico). “Dyadic Harmonic Analysis”.
Rodolfo Torres (University of Kansas, USA). "Calderón-Zygmund theory, almost orthogonality and the T1-theorem". 
Daniel Faraco (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid-ICMAT, Spain). “Differential inclusions, quasiconformal mappings and Tartar conjecture”.
Carlos Perez (Universidad de Sevilla, Spain). “A course on classical Harmonic Analysis with emphasis on Singular Integrals and weights”.
Tuomas Hytönen (University of Helsinki, Finland). "Representation of singular integrals by dyadic operators, and the A2 theorem"

Unit 2:
Jesús Jaramillo (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain). "Lipschitz functions and geometry of metric measure spaces".
Urs Lang (ETH Zurich, Switzerland), "Injective hulls in metric geometry and geometric group theory".
Valentino Magnani (Pisa University, Italy). "Measure of submanifolds in Carnot groups".
Nages Shanmugalingam (University of Cincinnati). “Notions of Sobolev spaces in the metric setting”.
Rafa Espínola (Universidad de Sevilla, Spain). "Introduction to Geometric Measure Theory and Geodesic Spaces".

Unit 3:
Joan Mateu (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain) "Capacities, Singular Integrals And Sobolev Spaces"
