The School on D-modules and applications in Singularity Theory is organized by the Mathematical Sciences Institute of CSIC (ICMAT) and the Mathematical Research Institute of the University of Sevilla (IMUS) and will take place at the University of Sevilla  on June 20-25, 2011 and at the ICMAT (Madrid) on June 27 to July 2, 2011.

The School is addressed to PhD students and young post-doc researchers working on Algebraic Geometry, Singularity Theory and related areas. The first week will be devoted to the general theory of D-modules, from the basic definitions to the Riemann-Hilbert correspondence. The second week will be centered on the interactions of D-module Theory with Hodge Theory and with applications to Singularity Theory."
